Düsseldorf Trade Fair was founded in 1947 and currently employs over 1400 people worldwide. The Group's annual turnover amounted to around EUR 316 million in 2005, with Messe Düsseldorf GmbH alone contributing profit in excess of EUR 236 million. Some 26,300 exhibitors displayed their wares to over 1.3 million visitors on a gross floor space of around 252.000 m², divided into 17 halls.
Of around 40 events in Düsseldorf, over 20 are benchmark exhibitions in their sector. The international network of the Messe Düsseldorf group of companies consists of 65 foreign agencies for 105 countries and 13 direct holdings and subsidiaries. The Group boasts 40 years' experience of foreign trade fairs all over the world.
